At 38, retinitis pigmentosa caught up with me.

I used to drive for hours through the night - across Los Angeles, deep into the Nevada desert. Then, slowly, the dark stopped giving anything back. There came a day I couldn't walk into a dimly lit restaurant on my own.

I'm an entrepreneur, so when I couldn't find a solution, I set out to build one - a way to get my sight back. The real inspiration was closer than the work. My sister lives with severe RP. Once I had developed technology that improved my own vision, I had to know - could it help her too? She tried it, and told me it made a real, tangible difference in her daily life.

That was the moment eyesee began. I decided to help as many people as I could. With a top-tier engineering team and a lot of sleepless months, we built a product that improves life not only for people with RP, but for people across many vision impairments.
